Kenyan Political Crisis - Resolution

After a rocky month or so, it seems that Kenya is back on the road to normality.  We have been in close contact with the Kenyan Tourism Association and it almost seems to be back to business as usual for tour operators in the country.  The figures are staggering though, in a time of year where occupancy rates are usually in the 90% category, these figures slumped to all time lows with mass cancellations due to the electoral issues.  In cold hard cash the forecasted loss to Kenyan tour operators is going to be in the ballpark of 1 billion Canadian Dollars.

Kofi Annan (ex UN Secretary General) and his mediation team are working hard with both parties towards a peaceful resolution to this problem.  Both parties agree that a peaceful resolution is the only option, and are working together in order to attain this.
