Post #3 The 'Wild/Wave Hogs' in New Zealand
Since our last post the crew has been super busy, a poor weather summit attempt on Mt Ngaruhoe (Mt Doom from Lord of the Rings), Rafting on the Tongariro River, a bit of sightseeing and surfing at Mt Manganui in the Bay of Plenty (we also saw a pod of Orca's (killer whales) from about 100 metres away). We are now in paihia, readying ourselves for a 3 day sea kayak trip to wind down our journey. No internet access for a few days so i will post again soon with more tales and pictures.
