Mt Kenya Bike Descent, Kayaking and Game Viewing Expedition

Just a word from the field here.  This October/November we are running one of the first (known to us) Mt Kenya climbs followd by mountain bike descent.  The trip will include 2 days hiking to Shipton's Hut up the Sirimon Route, a days rock climbing in this area, then a summit trek to Pt Lenanna.  From Lenana we will descend to Minto's Hut where we will meet with the bikes and on day 6 we will descend approx. 2,000 verticle meters to the awaiting vehicles and a much needed rest.
We know a couple of professional bikers have made the full descent from the summit of Lenanna, though we belive this to be one of the first (if not the first) commercial trip of this kind in Kenya.
After that the group will be doing a variety of activities including kayaking, more mountain biking, coast visits and a trip to the Masai Mara.
There are still a few places left on this trip so if you are interested in more information and being ovolved in this unique opportunity, please contact Simon at simon.coward@adventuretrippin.com
